Update March 26, 2020 - In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) as much as possible, U-center has taken a number of measures. In this we follow the most current guidelines from the RIVM.

Registration remains possible
The registration process from the communication center and any subsequent counseling sessions for admission take place as normal. This is done via video chat if possible. No physical appointments take place in Driebergen. Almost all U-center employees currently work from home.
During the week of March 16, we were forced to suspend all treatments at our treatment center in Epen until at least Tuesday, April 7. The clients who were staying in the clinic at that time went home or to another place of residence. U-center staff carefully considered appropriate solutions and informed family doctors/referrers.
Video chat and e-health modules
With clients temporarily discharged from the clinic, there is supportive contact via video chat with their practitioner at least twice a week. U-center provides a secure digital platform for this. In addition to the video chat, it is possible to follow e-health modules on their own. The modules are mainly focused on lifestyle management. In this way, U-center gives its clients additional tools and structure. In the digital platform, clients can also work on their future development plan. This plan ensures that the client has a good guide for what to do in the coming period. This way he or she does not lose grip and old patterns stay away.

Aftercare
The aftercare process from our outpatient center in Driebergen continues as usual. Our therapists are in contact with clients by phone or via video chat and blog contact. In this way, U-center offers its clients the best possible help at this time.

We realize that the above measures have a great impact on our clients. We ask for your understanding. U-center is closely following the developments and the RIVM guidelines in the interest of the health of our clients and essential colleagues. We expect to communicate new developments during the week of March 30. We are currently working hard to be able to offer alternative forms of treatment in the near future if the current measures remain in place. As soon as this is possible, we will inform clients eligible for admission about (tentative) admission dates.
