Bouke Schuurmans will step down as Managing Director and Board Member of U-center effective 30 September. Schuurmans joined U-center as Managing Director in March 2025 and has contributed to the further development of U-center as a specialised mental healthcare provider for people with complex and co-occurring mental health conditions. Due to a difference in strategic perspectives, it has been mutually agreed to part ways.Since 1 May 2025, Schuurmans has served on U-center’s Board of Directors alongside Rosy Ghijsens, Director of Care. Rosy Ghijsens will remain with U-center as Director of Care and Board Member.
