U-center is a specialized treatment center for national and international clients with multiple psychological problems. Clients choose U-center on their own initiative and are highly motivated to get started. They are offered a unique treatment concept, with the goal of regaining their role in society as quickly as possible. In order to make the "U-turn," U-center offers a 6-week treatment period in the clinic, after which the client is ready to go home and an 8-week outpatient program follows upon indication.
Our treatment center is located in the beautiful South Limburg hills and the communication center is located in the beautiful wooded area of Driebergen. The unique location of both locations contributes significantly to the work happiness of our employees.
About the position Social psychiatric nurse practitioner/nurse practitioner
What will you do?
- You will supervise clients on an individual and group basis, using agogic and therapeutic interventions.
- You will support clients and their support persons in systemic conversations, working toward connection and mutual understanding.
- You will work with clients to create a Future Development Plan. This plan focuses on understanding the causes of problems, strengthening protective factors and preventing relapse.
- You will work intensively in a multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach.
- You will create a safe, stimulating environment where clients feel heard, understood, and motivated to achieve their goals.
About you
For the SPV/Nurse Practitioner position, you will bring the following:
- You have a completed college education (for example, SPV or Nursing) and you are BIG-registered.
- You have experience working with clients with complex mental health and/or addiction issues.
- You are empathetic, goal-oriented and can switch well between different levels of counseling.
- You have experience with systemic work and can take a coaching role in this.
- You work independently, but are also a team player in a multidisciplinary environment.
- You have good communication skills and are able to carefully prepare reports.
