As of October 2021, U-center has met the VIPP GGZ standards. In this way, U-center contributes to safety and transparency within our care.
In November 2018, the so-called VIPP GGZ scheme was launched. This is a grant scheme consisting of an implementation program that aligns with national standards. These include the Basic Healthcare Data Set (BGZ), the medication process information standard and standards for exchange with a PBM (MedMij).
The VIPP GGZ scheme covers:
- providing better insight to patients about their health;
- uniformity in reporting;
- data sharing;
- increasing medication safety;
- encouraging e-health.
In October 2021, the project was completed with a positive formal audit conducted by BKBO. This means that U-center currently meets the standards to:
- securely exchange treatment data with any eligible personal health environment (PBL)
- further increase security and transparency during our treatment processes
- further integrate e-health into our treatment concept through specific modules and video calls
The results achieved have come about through healthy cooperation between all our employees, suppliers and external consulting organizations. Now U-center is continuing along the path where the opportunities provided by this arrangement are being further developed.
